AB A remnant Gothic wall was discovered and presented in an analytic way on the southern facade next to the current main Baroque entrance to St. Michael's cathedral at The Old Town in Prague. The wall is considered to be a part of a large cathedral style doorway, protected by a porch. Publications registering this find set its origins to the second half of the 14th century. Some authors consider the dating even closer to the 1350. Although the description is insufficient and the style analysis is missing, yet the remnants were of such quality, that we attempt to fill some of the gaps in the data. This find can also be interpreted as a chapel or a connection of a chapel with a doorway. Despite the fragmentary state a relation with a specific school of masonry is apparent. One of the corbels appears to reflect sculptures by P. Parler and some details have international analogies around the year 1400.
