AB  - Unpublished results of a rescue excavation in Hellichova Street at Malá Strana in Prague 1 pursued in 1969. In a trench section an amateur archaeologist discovered two oval features in the depth of 2,4 m, probably kilns, and gathered a number of pottery fragments on the spoil heaps. Since most of them are dated to the 12th-13th century, this date may be associated also with the features, interpreted as possible pottery kilns. The settlement history of this mikroregion is characterised by the absence of the pottery earlier than 12th century (apart from two sherds), which almost excludes any intensive activity on this site in this phase of the Early Middle Ages.
