AB  - Works of adaptation in the school building No. 886/I during the years 2010 and 2011 gave the possibility to verify earlier presumptions concerning the survival of monastery remains in the basement of current building. Operative documentation in advance followed by archaeological excavation confirmed this hypothesis. Remains of the monastery church of St. Cross were excavated under the floors of the cellar in the south wing and adjacent part of the yard, documenting a long history of its development since the second half of the 13th century to the demolition of the building in 1890. Also the secondary use of numerous fragments of the demolished church was discovered in the standing walls.
