On the example of today's house No. 887/II, it is possible to observe the relocation of the residential unit within two (?) town settlements during the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age. The war conflict in the 18th century (1757/1758) completely changed the character and appearance of street buildings. The traditional medieval town settlements disappeared and their space became part of the property of higher nobility - in this case, smaller burgher houses were replaced by the rear wing of Kounic's palace with a sala terrena and an adjoining garden.
