AB  - The paper deals with two architectural elements found in a secondary position during the excavation of a utility tunnel trench on Betlémské Square in Prague. The first is an opuka rectilinear moulding with a shallow groove on the outer face and a funnel-shape on the inner face. The second is a vault rib of an elongated wedge profile with a very shallow groove on one side, almost imperceptible on the opposite side. Distribution of both elements in Bohemia is reviewed as well as the period of their use mainly in the first half of the 14th century. Both fragments most likely document the Gothic reconstruction of Sts. Philip and James Romanesque church, now vanished, which was located in close proximity or directly at the site where the elements were found.
